Advertising and Partner Disclosure
Big Brain Funding may be compensated by a funding or professional partner when an authorized introduction produces an accepted lead or completed transaction. That compensation creates a financial interest in making the introduction.
1. How Big Brain Funding may earn money
We may receive compensation through arrangements such as:
- A fixed fee for an accepted or qualified introduction.
- A fee connected to a completed funding or professional-services transaction.
- A sponsorship or clearly labeled advertising placement.
- A separately agreed marketing or research service.
The structure and amount can vary by partner. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, you do not pay Big Brain Funding merely to use the site or submit a funding profile. A provider may charge its own rates, fees, or costs under an agreement directly with you.
2. Editorial rankings are not for sale
No lender currently pays for its position in the SBA Lender Directory or SBA editorial rankings. Those positions are calculated from the published method and underlying records. A lender cannot pay to move up, suppress an accurate negative fact, or remove a verified owner review.
A company may appear in editorial research without being a commercial partner. A commercial partner may rank poorly or not appear at all if it does not meet the editorial criteria. The directory is not a complete list of every provider available to you.
3. Sponsored and advertising content
Paid material must be labeled with terms such as Sponsored,Advertisement, or Paid Partner where a reasonable reader can see the disclosure without opening another page. Sponsored content does not become an independent recommendation merely because it appears on Big Brain Funding.
4. Partner introductions and consent
Submitting the website's funding profile authorizes Big Brain Funding to review it and contact you as described beside the form. It does not, by itself, authorize a lender or partner to contact you. Before transferring contact and qualification information, we require separate, explicit permission identifying the intended partner or partners and permitted contact methods.
A partner makes its own decision about whether to contact you, request an application, conduct underwriting, or offer a product. Big Brain Funding does not control or guarantee that decision. Review the Privacy Policy for information-sharing details.
5. What compensation does not mean
- It does not mean the partner is the cheapest, best, or only option.
- It does not mean you are approved or likely to qualify.
- It does not mean Big Brain Funding guarantees the partner's conduct, terms, licensing, or performance.
- It does not replace your responsibility to review the provider and transaction independently.
- It does not allow a partner to change public-record calculations or editorial conclusions.
6. Reviews, testimonials, and outcomes
Owner reviews are not paid placements. If a testimonial, case study, or endorsement involves compensation or another material connection, that relationship must be disclosed near the claim. A reported outcome is not a promise that another business will receive the same amount, timeline, price, or approval decision.
