Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026 · Effective 3 August 2026

The short version

We collect business and contact details to build a preliminary funding profile. If you consent, we share that profile with funding providers so they can contact you about financing. We are compensated by those providers. You can withdraw consent or request deletion at any time.

This policy explains how Big Brain Funding ("we", "us"), a service operated by Latam Resource Group LLC, handles information collected through bigbrainfunding.com.

1. Who we are — and what we are not

Big Brain Funding is a lead generation and marketing service. We are not a lender, bank, broker of record, or funding provider. We do not make credit decisions, issue approvals, set rates or terms, or fund transactions. Our role is to collect the information you choose to provide, organise it into a preliminary funding profile, and — with your consent — introduce you to third-party funding providers.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you enter into the funding assessment. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your Social Security number, bank credentials, or full account numbers.

Your credit range is self-reported. We do not pull your credit report and submitting the assessment does not create a credit inquiry.

3. How we use it

4. How we share it — and how we are paid

Please read this section carefully. The core of our service is introducing you to funding providers. When you submit an assessment and give consent, we may transmit the information above to one or more third-party funding providers, brokers, or marketing partners.

Those providers may contact you directly. Once your information is with a provider, their own privacy policy governs their use of it — not this one. We do not control their retention, marketing, or onward-sharing practices.

We receive compensation from funding providers for introductions, which may be a fixed fee per accepted profile or another arrangement. This means we have a financial interest in connecting you with a provider. We do not charge you a fee, and providers pay us regardless of whether you accept any offer.

We may also share information with service providers who operate the site on our behalf (for example hosting and form processing), and where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Your choices about calls and texts

When you tick the consent box, you agree that Big Brain Funding may contact you by phone, email, or text about business financing. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, clicking unsubscribe in an email, or emailing us at the address in section 10. Withdrawing consent stops our contact; if your profile has already been shared with a funding provider, you will need to contact that provider directly to stop theirs.

6. Sale and sharing of personal information

Some state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended — define "sale" broadly enough to include disclosing personal information to a third party for compensation. Because we are paid by funding providers for introductions, our sharing may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under those laws. We tell you this plainly rather than rely on a technicality.

You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information by emailing us with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

For deletion specifically, see our step-by-step User Data Deletion page, which also covers data received through Facebook or other Meta platforms.

To exercise any of these, email us using the details in section 10. We will verify your request — usually by confirming details you already gave us — and respond within the timeframe your state law requires, generally 45 days.

8. Retention

We keep assessment submissions for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, including proof of consent. Where we have no continuing need or legal requirement, we delete or de-identify the information. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

9. Security, cookies, and other notes

The site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use only the cookies and local storage strictly necessary to operate the site and remember your progress through the assessment. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

The site is intended for business owners and operators aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
