Accountability
Corrections Policy
We correct verifiable errors. We do not change a public-record ranking because a company dislikes the result, and no company can pay to edit or remove an accurate fact.
1. What you can report
- An incorrect number, calculation, label, date, link, or description.
- A lender merger, name change, duplicate identity, or incorrect institution match.
- Outdated provider criteria, licensing information, or program availability.
- A quotation or summary that does not accurately reflect the cited source.
- A privacy, attribution, copyright, or review-verification concern.
2. How to submit a correction
Email latamresourcegroupllc@gmail.comwith the subject Data Correction. Include:
- The exact page URL.
- The sentence, table row, or metric you believe is wrong.
- Your proposed correction.
- The strongest supporting source, preferably an agency record, filing, registry, or official disclosure.
- Your name, organization, and relationship to the subject.
3. How we evaluate a request
We compare the claim against the source version and methodology used on the page. When newer information is supplied, we determine whether the page was wrong when published or is now outdated. We may request a record identifier, licensing document, filing, or other evidence. A company statement alone may be sufficient for its own current product details, but it does not override contrary government records without supporting documentation.
4. Response and resolution
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within five business days. Straightforward verified errors are normally corrected within ten business days. Complex data identity disputes may take longer because they can require comparing source files across periods. We may decline requests that provide no evidence, seek to hide accurate public information, or ask us to adopt marketing language as fact.
5. How corrections appear
- Material factual correction: update the content and, where appropriate, add an updated date or correction note explaining what changed.
- Dataset refresh: update the data cutoff and verification date. Rankings may change without implying the previous calculation was erroneous.
- Minor repair: correct spelling, grammar, formatting, accessibility, or a broken link without a formal note.
- Unresolved dispute: retain the sourced result and clarify the limitation when credible evidence conflicts.
6. Reviews and personal information
A lender may challenge whether a review is genuine, but cannot pay to remove it. We may contact the reviewer, request verification, redact unnecessary personal information, temporarily withhold a disputed review, or remove a review that cannot be substantiated or violates our terms. Privacy and deletion requests follow the Privacy Policy rather than this policy.
7. No retaliation and no paid corrections
Reporting an error does not affect whether a company is eligible for an introduction or partnership. A current or potential partner receives the same correction process as anyone else. Payment, referral volume, advertising, or commercial pressure does not determine whether a factual correction is accepted.
